Dahlia's - Learn the art of creating show stopping paper flowers

This one day paper flower workshop takes place in person on Saturday 12th July 2025 at the artist's studio in Wales. 

Zoe hope's to create an immersive inspiring experience of hand sculpting in paper her Dahlia flower stems sharing her unique crafting techniques. She will talk about finding her inspiration from growing her own flowers and using them as patterns to craft her own paper floral sculptures.

Date: Saturday 12th July 2025

Time: 10am-5.00pm 

You will learn to make two flower styles: 

• Partly opening dahlia flower stem
• Open dahlia flower stem

What you will learn:

• Zoe will guide you through her hand sculpting techniques of curling, scoring and sculpting petals to create your very own paper flowers.
• Set within the Artists studio guests will be surrounded by some of her artworks and samples which cannot help but inspire budding artists and designers.
• During the workshop, Bradley will share her non-conventional story of how she started in paper starting with her unique beginnings working for the late designer Alexander McQueen.  

Day Schedule: 

• 10am: Meet at zoe's studio Wales
• 1030.-13.00: Introduction/  Craft -First dahlia- open petal 
• 13.00- 13.30: break for Lunch 
• 113.00-15.30: Craft- second dahlia closed petal 
• 16.00-17.00: show and tell tidy up 

Transport: Located a 15 minute taxi from Bridgend or Cardiff central train station. Parking available outside studio. Taxi can be booked in advance for return train journeys.
